Emiko’s Privacy Policy applies in full to Emiko: 10 mins Health and Fitness at app.emikoapp.com. The notes below explain how this free, ad-supported app differs.
What this app collects
When you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address, profile image and Google account identifier. We store the profile details you enter and text-based workout results such as completions, reps, active time and estimated calories so your progress can follow you across devices. Your first name and all-time calorie total may appear in the Compete ranking.
Camera processing
Pose estimation runs on your device. Routine workout video is not uploaded or stored by Emiko. Only derived workout results may be saved.
Questions and app activity
If you submit a health question, we store the question and the city and country you enter, linked to your Google account and fitness profile. Only you and the authorised Emiko administrator can access your question. We also record signed-in screen visits, onboarding steps, exercise starts, completions, skips and workout exits to understand where people need help. Question text is not included in those activity events. You can request deletion by emailing connect.emikofit@gmail.com.
Selected questions may be rewritten anonymously and published with a doctor’s answer. The answer feed does not include the questioner’s name, account, profile or location. Doctor names, qualifications, photos and answer media are public. Saved answers are stored on your device. Embedded videos may connect to YouTube when loaded.
Heart reactions are linked privately to your account to prevent duplicate likes. Only aggregate counts appear publicly; the feed does not publish a list of people who reacted.
Free, ad-supported access
This app is free and supported by Google AdSense. Google and its partners may use cookies, device information, IP-derived location and activity on this app to select, deliver, measure and limit ads, subject to your consent choices and Google’s policies.
Service providers
Google provides sign-in and advertising. Supabase provides cloud data storage. Vercel hosts the web app. These providers process data under their own terms and our instructions where applicable.
Notifications
If you turn on notifications, Emiko: 10 mins Health and Fitness stores this device’s push-subscription address, encryption keys and timezone with your Google account. The app may send three workout reminders across the day. You can block notifications at any time in your phone or browser settings.
Your choices
Google sign-in is required so your profile and workout progress can be stored against your account. Signing out stops access and cloud sync on that device. For access, correction or deletion requests, email connect.emikofit@gmail.com.
